网上都说ｕｓｂａｎｋ很难很慢，而且还是两个ｌｏａｎ，很多人都说几乎就不可能。不知道ｖｅｇａｓ的情况怎么样，一个月什么进展都没有。

Banks are getting a lot better when it comes to short sale, especially the big 5.
(BOA, WF, Citi, Chase & USB). If there is a major delay, it is because the agent did not get all the docs together, or negotiator has back log. My short sales get their first counteroffer within 6 weeks after the docs are all ready.

fingers crossed for it. Put in another offer today. Also short sale, will buy whichever approved first.

I bought a short-sale condo which got approved by the banks more than 4 months after accepted by the saler.
It will not surprize me if you wait more than 3 months.

我有相同经历，卖主有二个贷款，一月份签约，五月收到第一银行批准信，七月得到第二银行批准，第一封批准信过期，再申请，最终八月底完成。幸运的是卖主诚心短卖，雇了律师邦忙谈判，屁股较干净，没欠其它钱。总之要耐心加运气。

我7/9/2012签的合同，10/04/2012 CLOSING 的， 1st: ONEWEST BANK; 2nd: WellsFargo; 现金买的。卖家的SHORT SALE AGENT 是KELLER WILLIAMS MARKETPLACE, 我的AGENT是REMAX. 当时的起价是79000，有8个OFFER, 我出85000现金价。最重要的是出价，当时银行的估价是95000，银行一般可接受的出价是估价的90%左右，我的AGENT比较有经验，但是我的价格比邻居买高了。虽然现在涨了一点。

我认为, 如果有multiple offer, 能被递上去, 到最后买到手, 基本上出的价是这些offer中最高价(排除和agent有什么deal). 有一朋友, 人在外州, 让我帮她看房, 她刚开始时想买, 但又怕被接受offer, 因为怕被说成是最高价, 再加上今年房价涨了, 后来干脆就不买了. short sale的房等2-8个月是正常的.
